June 1976Established “Marubeni Oil Corporation” As a solely owned subsidiary of Marubeni Corporation
(inauguration of business in August).
Set up Osaka (current Kansai) and Nagoya (current Chubu) branch office.
April 1979Set up Fukuoka (current Kyushu) branch office.
July 1980Transfer Marine fuel and lubricant oil to our company from Marubeni Corporation.
October1980Set up Sendai (current Tohoku) branch office.
April 1982Set up Sapporo (current Hokkaido) branch office.
April 1985Transfer LPG department operations from Marubeni Corporation.
Changed the trade name to Marubeni Energy Corporation.
April 1988Set up Kanazawa (Integrated with current Chubu&Hokuriku branch) branch office.
April 1993Managed Maruseki Kosan Corporation.
March 2000Managed Marubeni Gas Kosan Corporation.
January 2004Divided LPG department operation to newly-established Marubeni Gus energy Corporation.
